Road Accident Claims Life of Two-Year-Old Boy in Kasungu

A two-year-old boy, Clement Banda, tragically lost his life in a road accident at Elick Mbambo Village along the Chisinga-Chulu earth road.

The accident involved a minibus driven by Alex Chikoko, 57, and a 10-year-old pedal cyclist, Gryson Banda, who was carrying Clement.

According to Kasungu police Deputy Spokesperson Miracle Hauli, the collision occurred when the minibus hit the pedal cyclist, causing him to lose balance and fall.

Sadly, Clement sustained severe head injuries due to the impact and was pronounced dead upon arrival at Kasungu District Hospital.

Remarkably, the cyclist escaped unharmed from the accident. Clement Banda, who hailed from Elick Mbambo village under Sub Traditional Authority Chisinga in Kasungu District, has left behind a grieving community.
