The Episcopal Conference of Malawi (ECM) has appointed Father Valeriano Michael Mtseka as the new Secretary General with effect from 1st August 2023.

Mtseka replaces Reverend Father Alfred Chaima who has been appointed as Bishop of Zomba Diocese.

He was ordained priest in 2005 and has held several positions in the Church.

Fr Mtseka who hails from Chithumba Village in Traditional Authority Chapananga in Chikwawa.
