Police have arrested Reverend Peter Kandulu after a vehicle he was driving hit to death two pedestrians at Ngala trading centre in Nkhotakota district last night.

Police Spokesperson for Central East Region, Esther Mkwanda, has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

Mkwanda said after the accident, Reverend Kandulu proceeded to Mzuzu police station where he surrendered himself.

She has identified the deceased as Blessings Jere aged 19 and 18-year-old Arnold Banda.
