Authorities in Zambia have released new details surrounding a 22 year old mobile money agent identified as Pamela Chisumpa who was kidnapped almost four months ago.

According to the Minister of Home Affairs Internal Security, Jack Mwiimbu, the alleged kidnappers of Pamela made contact with their hostage’s boyfriend demanding ransom.

The kidnappers, have said once they receive the said money they will release the 22 year old lady.

Mwiimbu added that even though they are moving in slow in locating the whereabouts of Pamela, police are actively investigating the matter.

However, Zambians have cautioned Mwiimbu of putting out such sensitive information in the open saying it will jeopardize the ongoing investigations.
