Red Lions have announced the departure of their head coach, Mike Kumanga, following a series of disappointing results in the TNM Super League.
The military team, decided to relieve Kumanga of his duties due to the team’s poor performance.
Joy Kakhona, the club’s publicity secretary, confirmed the news, stating that Red Lions are now actively searching for a new coach.
In the interim, Technical Advisor Franko Ndawa will assume the role, supported by two assistants, Chifundo Masakula and Malumbo Mkandawire.
Currently, the Zomba-based team finds itself in a difficult position, occupying second-to-last place in the Super League table.
With only four points secured from eight games, Red Lions are determined to turn their season around and improve their standing.
