PTC Employees Storm Labour Offices Over Unpaid Salaries

Reports reaching us indicate that the employees from PTC, Food Lovers, and Spar have stormed Ministry of Labour offices to present their grievances on five months’ unpaid salaries.

The employees are addressing Minister of Labour, Vera Kamtukule, who they say needs to take action on the matter.

3 days ago, the frustrated workers held vigils at company’s headquarters over the issue.

They decided to halt the vigils after the management promised them that they will be paid at the end of this week.

Since PTC was sold to Tafika Holding, it has been hard to establish themselves properly in the country.

More details to come..
