Information reaching this publication indicates that protesters in Mangochi have started pelting stones at some shops and burning tyres.

It all started when unknown person wanted to attack Bon Kalindo who is leading the protesters.

Kalindo has since called on protesters to stop the barbaric behavior.

Protesters are against the recent devaluation of the kwacha which has resulted in the rise of prices of goods on the market.
