Concerned citizens who are marching against rising cost of living in Blantyre are calling for the immediate resignation of President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera for failing to turn around the country’s economy as promised.

The protesters are being led by activist, Oliver Nakoma.

The protesters started marching from Yianakis Roundabout in Limbe through Masauko Chipembere Highway to the District Commissioner’s office in Blantyre.

There is high police presence in anti-riot gear and in civilian outfits, accompanying the protesters.
