The protesters have now delivered their petition at the Blantyre District Commissioner’s office.

In their petition, the protesters have demanded the resignation of President Lazarus Chakwera and Vice-President Saulos Chilima.

The protesters are demanding the resignation of Chakwera for failing to remove his immunity and Chilima for alleged corruption pertaining to his alleged involvement with United Kingdom based businessperson Zuneth Sattar.

The protesters further want the President to address issues pertaining to the current high cost of living.
