A political and governance commentator George Phiri, has urged political leaders to avoid interfering in the tasks of different parastatals, if they are to recover and improve the progress of their performance.

The development has come following the observations that various public initiatives are in rundown state due to cruelty by government politicians over the years.

However, the situation has resulted in poor public service delivery by the affected bodies including ESCOM, ADMARC as well as city councils.
