Police spokesperson Sub Inspector Noel Kamchenga has confirmed the news of a fatal accident in Rumphi, where three individuals lost their lives.

The accident occurred when a fuel tanker they were traveling in overturned in Chiweta Hills in the district last night.

The bodies of the victims have been retrieved from the scene, and only the driver has been identified so far.

The three individuals were en route from Mzuzu to Karonga when the accident took place.
