Police Officer Allegedly Kills Girlfriend at University of Zambia

Zambia is in shock after a brutal murder that took place on the grounds of the University of Zambia.

Patrick Nyapala, a police officer, shot and killed his girlfriend 47 times, leaving her lifeless on the spot.

The motive behind the heinous crime is believed to stem from a rejection of the officer’s marriage proposal.

Reports indicate that Nyapala had financially supported his girlfriend for four years while she was studying at the university, paying for her tuition fees.

Despite his generosity, the young woman had reportedly found someone else and declined the officer’s proposal, leading to the tragedy.

The murder has sparked outrage across the country, with many calling for justice to be served and for stricter measures to be put in place to prevent such acts of violence.
