Police in Nsanje have launched a a manhunt for unknown assailants who last night allegedly assaulted and killed a mobile money transfer agent, Zuze Samson Jimu 31, from Ndamera trade center in the district.

Nsanje district Police Spokesperson, Sub Inspector Agnes Zalakoma, confirmed the development saying Jimu was found lying in a pool of blood along the Mtowe/Mtema road.

Zilakoma added that police believe the unknown assailants had assaulted Zuze before robbing him of his new motorcycle, a hand bag containing K600,000 cash and a mobile phone.

Jimu will be laid to rest soon.
