Police Discovers Abandoned Vehicle After Being Stolen By Unknown Thieves In Phalombe

Police in Phalombe have discovered  a vehicle suspected to be stolen and abandoned by unknown thieves at Lihaka trading centre, TA Chiwalo in the district.
The alleged thieves arrived at the house of Mr Twanje and asked him to keep the vehicle because it had flat tyres and that they want to buy spare tyre at Chinani Trading Centre to proceed with their journey.
After sometime, it was Nambazo Police Unit police that showed up at the place and said that the vehicle.
On a rear windscreen, it’s written “SALIMA” and it has no registration number.
Meanwhile, Police in the district have launched manhunt to catch the unknown thieves who have dumped the car and bolted.
