Police blocks gang of youth from joining CDEDI vigils at Capitol Hill

Information reaching this publication indicates that law enforcers have detained a minibus carrying about 21 youths claiming to be heading to the office of Attorney General to join the ongoing vigils organised by CDEDI

The minibus has been detained at Capitol Hill entrance.

The youths lead by Agape Khombe claims that they were picked from Lizulu market in Lilongwe and were promised to work somewhere.

It is not known as to whether the grouping was going to Capitol Hill to join the ongoing vigils organized by CDEDI Executive Director Sylvester Nawiwa or not.

Namiwa wants the Attorney General Thabo Chakaka Nyirenda to resign for failing to recover MK750 million meant for AIP fertilizer which was paid to Butchery Company.
