Police in Chikwawa have arrested one person for allegedly Vandalising and Theft of electrical fittings at Chikwawa Teachers Training College.

Police instituted investigations after receiving a complaint from the school authorities and investigations have led to the arrest of the suspect.

Police have also managed to recover electrical cables which were stolen at the facility and investigations are still underway.

Police through the Criminal Investigation Department have gathered more information and more arrests will be made.

So far Police have intensified massive Patrols during day and night to enhance security and safety of property at the facility.
