Police in Mchinji on Thursday evening reportedly arrested a number of teacher students at Mchinji Teachers Training College after protests against the institution’s alleged maladministration.

Aaron Patrick  one of the students claimed that the law enforcers had used teargas to dispense the angry students.

Both Mchinji Police and Mchinji Teachers Training officials were not immediately available for comment on the matter.
