Phalombe District Council Renovates Shed For Migowi Market

Phalombe District Council has renovated a shed at Migowi market as one way of reducing the tendency for illegal vending along the road at the Migowi Trading Centre in the district.
Director of Finance at Phalombe District Council, Mayamiko Mbaya, has confirmed the development and says the project has consumed K2million.
Mbaya made this sentiment today after inspecting refurbishment works supported by locally generated revenue.
Meanwhile, Chairperson for Migowi Market Jackson Sitima has commended the council says the shed, which was abandoned fifteen years ago, will ease the congestion of vendors in and outside the market.
Here are high prospects of a reduced tendency for illegal vending along the road at the in the District.
