Pentecost church’s national secretary, Reverend Davie Willie Kaiya has confirmed that the church has suspended an elder member identified as Gift Makolo, 25 after he was arrested on allegations that he defiled and impregnated his wife’s 15- year-old niece in Phalombe.

According to Kaiya, the suspension is to give room for the justice system to take its course until a logical conclusion on the matter is reached by competent courts.

Meanwhile, Kaiya has clarified that, is just a church elder and not a pastor as it was earlier purported.
