Parliament suspended again over Chizuma’s arrest

Parliament has been suspended for a third time pending the presentation of a report on the arrest of ACB Director General, Martha Chizuma.

Leader of the House, Richard Chimwendo Banda moved a motion that parliament continues with debate to allow Ministers of Justice Titus Mvalo and Homeland Security Minister, Jean Sendeza to thoroughly compile a report on the arrest of ACB Director General, Martha Chizuma.

This however did not please members of parliament mainly those from opposition benches on grounds that the house can not continue with deliberations in the absence of the report.
