The acting head teacher for Ntchisi secondary school, Master Msakatira, has been transferred to a community day secondary school in Dowa following allegations he was involved in illegal enrollment of over 80 students at the school.

Ministry spokesperson, Mphatso Nkuonera, says, however, transfers are a normal in the civil service.

Msakatira himself has refused to comment on the matter.

But education activist, Benedicto Kondowe, says the action is not a solution to the problem but an indication of existing governance gaps.
