Mighty Mukuru Wanderers outclassed Bangwe All Stars, to keep the TNM Super league race wide open and pile pressure on leaders FCB Nyasa Big Bullets ahead of Blantyre Derby.
Wanderers defeated Bangwe All-stars 3-0 at Kamuzu Stadium on Sunday afternoon, with Peter Cholopi, Christopher Kumwembe, and Wisdom Mpinganjira finding the back of the net.
Wanderers coach, Mark Harrison made notable changes from his previous lineup against Fomo FC.
The Englishman reintroduced William Thole, Captain Stanley Sanudi, Isaac Chair Kaliati, Francisco Madinga, Peter Cholopi, and Christopher Kumwembe to the starting eleven. The win sees Wanderers sitting in the second position with 53 points, level with Bullets, but they have played three more games than their rivals.
The win is also a molaro booster ahead of the Blantyre Derby which is a must win for the Nomads to win in order to keep pushing Bullets till the final weeks of the league.
Bullets have played 24 games while wanderers have played 27 games.
