Nine Injured as Minibus Overturns on Bangula-Nchalo Road

Nine people have sustained various degrees of injuries after a minibus they were traveling in overturned at Fulukiya village along the Bangula-Nchalo M1 road this morning.

Nsanje police deputy publicist, Constable Declare Mbukwa, says a Toyota Hiace registration number NE 7850 overturned after its driver, Ussein Ngwali, lost control.

Ngwali was driving from Bangula en route to Blantyre and lost control of the vehicle as he was overtaking a motorcycle, says Mbukwa.

He disclosed that the casualties were rushed to Kalemba Community Hospital, with some referred to Nsanje District Hospital. Others were treated as outpatients.
