The coup leaders in Niger have closed air spaces in the country having gotten information that a foreign power is preparing an attack.
A representative of the Junta says any attempt to violate national airspace will be met with an energetic and instantaneous response.
This follows a 15-country block west African nations warning of taking action if President Bazoum is not reinstated by yesterday.
Tension still grows on the coup as France has also planned to join the ECOWAS in taking action so that civilian leadership is reinstated.
