Nico Pensions awards long serving employee

CONGRATULATIONS—Chima (left) gives Khao a certificate

Representatives of Nico Pension Services Company have indicated that a motivated workforce is crucial to the growth of any company in the economy.

This came out on Friday when the company recognised one of its workers Agnes Khao for staying with the company for 20 years.

She was rewarded with K400,000 for her long service.

In an interview, the company’s general manager Gerald Chima said the business focuses on serving.

“When you have motivated employees, they service your clients better and when the clients are happy, you are assured of retaining them and in the process the word goes out and you get more clients which translates into growth of the company,” Chima said.

Khao thanked the company for the recognition and pledged allegiance to the company until retirement.

“I am excited with this gift; it has not been easy to stay this long in this company. My secret has always been dedication and hard work and my advice to those that have just joined the company is that they should stay away from issues that could get you in trouble,” Khao said.
