New Building Society (NBS) Bank teller has hanged herself to death after catching her fiancé having sex with another woman.

The deceased has been identified as Bridget Katungwe aged 28 and was working as a bank teller at Ntcheu Boma.

According to information at hand, the deceased committed suicide on Sunday.

It is said that the deceased caught her fiancé red-handed sleeping with a Secondary School student name withheld.

One of the eye witness identified as Gift Banda has confirmed of the development in a short statement posted on his official Facebook.

“Yesterday we buried Bridget Katungwe, 28 yrs old, a Bank teller at Ntcheu NBS.

“We don’t judge, God only has the responsibility to judge,” wrote Banda.

He added: “When we face challenges let’s share. A big loss to the family and entire Mbwana Village, in TA Nankumba. Till we meet again. Rest in God’s Power.”

Katungwe hailed from Mbwana Village, Traditional Authority Nankumba in the district.
