The newly appointed leader of the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Mary Navicha has accused Speaker of Parliament Catherine Gotani Hara of bringing chaos in the August House.

Navicha franked by Dr. George Chaponda, Clement Mwale, Bright Msaka and Christopher Mzomera Ngwira said this during DPP media briefing currently underway at Golden Peacock Hotel in the capital Lilongwe.

In her address Navicha said Gotani Hara hand-picked Mulanje Central MP Kondwani Nankhumwa to be the leader of opposition and she rejected the choice of the party.

Navicha went on to question as to why Hara is clinging to Nankhumwa as leader of opposition.
