National Bank of Malawi (NBM) on Tuesday gave out prizes to winners in the second draw of Kwathu pa Mo Promotion.
NBM Head of Digital Financial Services William Kaunda said the promotion had seen a reasonable number of people paying their rentals through the bank’s Mo626 service.

Malawi Housing Corporation spokesperson Ernestina Lunguzi said the corporation was happy with the partnership it had with the bank and was hopeful that a lot of people would embrace the service.
Lunguzi said the corporation was happy that their tenants were able to pay their services without covering long distances and at the same time be able to win various prizes in the process.
The draw, which took place at NBM Headquarters in Blantyre, saw some customers winning prizes ranging from one month rent to be paid by National Bank, K50,000 shopping vouchers, golf shirts among others.
