Opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Vice President for the South Kondwani Nankhumwa who is also leader of opposition in Parliament on Wednesday cheered Bishop Mercy Chikalipo in Chiradzulu District.

Bishop recently suffered a stroke.

Speaking after cheering Bishop Chikalipo, Nankhumwa said he learnt about the woman of God’s ordeal with much sadness and that he made a point that once he finds some space, he would pay her a visit.

On her part Bishop Chikalipo informed the Leader of the Opposition in Parliament that she is now feeling well and that she owes it the loving God.

Bishop Mercy Chika is the founder of Love of God Church and one of the brains behind the formation of Women Pastors Fraternal.
