Leader of opposition who is also Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Vice President for the South Kondwani Nankhumwa has accused the Tonse Alliance of President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera of losing direction.

Nankhumwa said this during a media briefing in the capital Lilongwe.

In his address Nankhumwa said it sad to not that the Tonse Alliance government is failing to provide solutions to unending challenges facing the country.

He said that the Chakwera led government has destroyed the country’s economy through poor decisions.

Among the poor decisions, Nankhumwa cited the cancellation of International Monetary Fund’s Extended Credit Facility (ECF) by the previous minister of finance Felix Mlusu, without proper consultations.
