Mzuzu Senior Resident Magistrate Felix Kamtsalira has adjourned to 4th October, Mzuzu Mayor councillor Gift Desire Nyirenda’s case.

This follows an application by the State, to ask for more time for defence to go through disclosures.

Councilor Nyirenda is accused of defiling a 16 year-old niece.

Nyirenda was arrested on 14 August, and he was granted bail on 19th same month.
