State Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima has said he is willing to meet President Lazarus Chakwera to resolve their differences over the Tonse Alliance agreement.

The development comes barely days after Chilima blasted the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) of flouting Tonse Alliance agreements.

UTM Publicity Secretary Frank Mwenifumbo has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

Mwenifumbo stressed the need for peace to prevail in the nine-member alliance for the betterment of Malawians.

Chakwera is ye t to comment on the matter.
