Mwawi Kumwenda urged organizers of netball to seek support from companies

Leading player in National Netball Team, Mwawi Kumwenda, has asked the organizers of netball games to focus on asking companies in the country to provide support for netball.

Kumwenda said this on the closing ceremony of Southern Region Boltsalt Netball League for girls under 23 years of age.

Kumwenda added that it is important for companies to start leagues in the regions so that netball can progress.

In the game they had, Blantyre Urban Team become champions after beating Zomba Prison team with 46-15 goals.

Secretary General of the competition’s management committee, Patricia Kapindu said she was happy that everything ended well, saying that this year there were no problems of lying of age between the girls.
