The opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) is this coming Sunday scheduled to hold a mega rally at Desert Ground in Bangwe Township in Blantyre.

Initially, the rally was scheduled to be held on August 28, 2022 but the rally failed after it transpired that the United Democratic Front (UDF) which is led by Liliani Patel.

According to information at hand, the rally will be graced by former Minister of Agriculture Dr. George Chaponda and DPP’s regional governor for the South Charles Mchacha.

Former President Peter Mutharika will miss the rally.
