Former President Peter Mutharika has been blocked from paying last respect to late Goodall Gondwe for allegedly arriving late at the funeral ceremony.

The CCAP Synod of Livingstonia could not wait any longer.

They ordered that the Casket carrying remains of Gondwe be taken out of his house to start the ceremony.

Synod General Secretary Reverend William Tembo told soldiers that they waited enough

Meanwhile, the funeral ceremony is currently underway.
