Death has been announced of singer Joboy from Zambia.

According to media reports from Zambia, the singer died this morning after a short illness.

Joboy came to light with his hit song ‘Nima Vibrator’.

Many Zambia have since taken to social media to express their sadness over the untimely death of the singer.

Mimi Kaunda wrote: “Life is too short Indeed I never knew I can receive a call just to be told you are no more joboy .. rest in peace till we meet again .”

Another concerned citizen identified as Ephraim C Bwalya wrote: “The entertainment industry is today also mourning the death of singer Joboy, who passed on today. Joboy is known for longtime hit ‘Nima Vibrator.”
