The body of well-known musician Atoht Manje, real name Elias Samson Maluwa will be laid to rest today in Nsanyira village traditional authority Mponda in Mangochi district.

Atoht Manje died on Saturday night after he complained of some discomfort immediately after his performance at University of Livingstonia.

The body of Atoht Manje was taken from Mzuzu Central Hospital Mortuary to his home village in Mangochi yesterday.

Meanwhile, government through Ministry of Local government, Unity and Culture has express shock over the death of Atoht Manje.

He is survived by a wife and four children.
