MultiChoice Malawi has announced its commitment to maintaining GOtv services within the Malawi market.

The company’s Corporate Affairs Manager, Zena Makunje, confirmed through a statement that MultiChoice Malawi will cease accepting DStv subscriptions, decoder sales, and technical services as of today.

The withdrawal of DStv services from Malawi by MultiChoice Africa Holdings took effect on Tuesday following an injunction Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA) obtained against Multichoice Malawi.

The injunction prohibited Multichoice Malawi from adjusting its subscription packages.
