A second-year student at Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) was discovered dead in his hostel room, prompting concerns and an ongoing police investigation.

The student had gone missing on Saturday afternoon, raising questions about the circumstances surrounding his death, as he was expected to take a practical exam.

Both the university and the police have yet to issue an official statement regarding this tragic incident.
