The Malawi Authority (MRA) has once again surpassed the  August target with K10 billion.

The tax collecting body has since taken to social media to celebrate the achievement.

Marketing and communications manager of MRA Wilma Chalulu has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

According to Chalulu,they targeted to collect K121 billion but have collected K131 billion with prospects of over-collection this month.

MRA launched the Taxpayer Charter last month  at Sunbird Mount Soche in Blantyre. The charter specifies the rights and the duties of taxpayers including favor standards committed to taxpayers.
