MPs pushes government to repatriate 50 stranded girls in Oman

Members of parliament have joined piling pressure on government to repatriate back home stranded girls in Oman.

The fresh calls have been made by Bertha Ndebere law maker for Balaka South West who called in authorities to join forces to bring home the stranded and abused girls.

Ndebere said it is disheartening to note that over 50 women are struggling in Oman and government is playing laxity on it.

This comes as Center for Democracy and Economic Development Initiative CDEDI has given government 7 days ultimatum to explain the where abouts of k400 million kwacha which was set aside for repatriation of 50 struggling girls trapped in Oman as they are sexually abused.
