Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that Legal Affairs Committee of Parliament Chairperson Peter Dimba has resigned.

The move comes just a couple of hours after the committee, through Dimba, had expressed surprise with the interdiction of ACB Director General Martha Chizuma.

According to the letter addressed to Speaker of Parliament seen by this publication, Dimba has cited the effort to frustrate the committee’s effort in the fight against corruption as the main reason.
