Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Member of Parliament for Mangochi Monkey-Bay Ralph Jooma has saluted President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera for pardoning former Minister of Homeland Security Uladi Mussa.

Chakwera pardoned Uladi Mussa together with 199 prisoners as part of Easter Holiday celebrations on Monday.

In his remarks Jooma who is also DPP spokesperson on finance in Parliament also thanked the Minister of Homeland Security Dr Ken Zikhale Ng’oma for “advising the president professionally” on the matter.

Mussa, former DPP Vice President for Central region was serving a 6 years jail sentence.
