A Standard 2 learner at Kalimbuka Primary School, Monica Pipino, from the area of Traditional Authority Boyidi in Thyolo, who went missing on December 27, 2023, has been found dead.

Traditional Authority Boyidi confirmed of the development in an interview with Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS) on Monday.

Chief Boyidi said the body of the girl was found in a maize field in Chilemba village.

The law enforcers have since launched an investigation on the matter.
