Ministry of Water and Sanitation offices housed in Tikwere House in the capital – Lilongwe have been sealed by MPICO.

It is reported that the offices have been sealed due to non-payment of rentals.

Ministry of Lands Spokesperson Enoch Chingoni has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

Secretary for Water and Sanitation Joseph Magwira said the situation has affected their operations but expressed hope that the matter will be resolved shortly as meetings are still in progress.

Meanwhile, officials from Ministry of Water are reportedly in an emergency meeting.
