Information reaching this publication indicates that a minibus has been gutted down by fire in Chilobwe Township in Blantyre this morning.

The incident happened at deport called ‘Pa Centre’.

It is said that the fire started just after the driver of the minibus switched on the engine to start off his journey to ferry passengers in Limbe.

All the passengers who boarded the minibus have escaped unhurt, according to an eyewitness only identified as Brian Iron.

The cause of the fire is not known at the moment.
