Former Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) regional governor for the South Charles Mchacha has obtained an injunction against his firing from his post.
Former President Peter Mutharika last week fired Mchacha from his post and replaced him with Thompson Kamangira.
The development means Mchacha is now back on his post as DPP’s regional governor for the south up until an interparty hearing within a period of 28 days.
DPP fired him for what it described as a strategic move in preparation to 2025 tripartite elections.
