The family of the fallen hip hop artist Martin Nkhata well known as Martse has said the funeral ceremony will take place at Civo stadium and not at The Nkhata residence as earlier communicated.

This follows the great multitude that went to the Nkhata residence earlier yesterday.

According to the communication from the family, the ceremony is expected to start at 10 am.

Ethel Kamwendo Banda also confirmed of the change of the program and thanked government for taking over.

Kamwendo added that if there will be any changes, they will communicate.

Later in the day, the remains of Martse will be laid to rest at Area 18 cemetery.

Martse who just celebrated his 28th birthday, died on Monday, May 23, 2022 at Queen Elizabeth central Hospital where he was being treated or burn wounds.

He has left behind a child.
