MANEB Administers Deferred Exams for PSLCE Candidates Amid Exam Fee Embezzlement Scandal

The Malawi National Examination Board(MANEB) is from today administering deferred exams of the Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education(PSLCE).

Some Standard 8 registered candidates failed to write their examinations due to embezzlement of exam fees by some school administrators.

They therefore did not receive their identity cards to sit for the exams last month.

According to MANEB spokesperson Mayamiko Chiwaya, the differed exams will run until June 30.
