In Lilongwe Police are hunting for a man identified as Sangulani Khansala on suspicion that he stabbed to death 23 year old Freza Chisale for allegedly failing to pay a gate entry fee for a birthday party the suspect organized.

According to Lilongwe Police spokesperson, Inspector Hastings Chigalu the incident happened on 21st August in Area 36.

The disagreements erupted when Chisale (deceased), gate-crashed the event, insisting to enter without the set fee which was demanded and this angered Khansala and he produced a knife and stabbed the victim twice in the head.

He says he however died at Kamuzu Central Hospital after receiving treatment for two days.

The deceased hailed from Chelewani Village in the Traditional Authority Chakhaza in Dowa district.
